Terms of use

The terms for using this site and, if you are invited, the BPT service. By using either you agree to them.

The site and the service

This site describes Business Process Tracker and lets you ask to use it. The service itself is offered by invitation, by the operator of this site, while it is being built: features may change, and parts described here may not be available yet.

Organisations with their own agreement

If your organisation has a written agreement with the operator of this site for BPT, that agreement governs its use of the service, and these terms apply only where it is silent.

Your account

  • Use only the account you were invited to, keep its password and authenticator to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used it.
  • Your electronic signature in BPT is legally your signature: sign only what you have read and mean to approve.
  • The organisation that invited you decides what you may see and do, and may remove your access.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site or the service to:

  • break the law, or store or send anything you have no right to;
  • upload malware, or try to get round its security, rate limits or the separation between organisations;
  • test its security except as the Responsible disclosure page allows;
  • overload it, scrape it, or copy it to build a competing product.

Your organisation’s data

Your organisation owns the data it puts into BPT. The operator of this site uses it only to provide the service, as the Privacy notice describes, and does not claim any right to it.

Our software and content

BPT, this site and their content belong to the operator of this site or its licensors. Using them gives you no right to them beyond these terms.

No warranty while it is built

While BPT is being built it is provided as it is and as available. It is designed to help organisations demonstrate compliance, but using it does not by itself make an organisation compliant with any law or framework, and it is not legal, financial or regulatory advice.

Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, the operator of this site is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, data or business, arising from use of the site or the invitation-only service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

Changes and ending

We may change these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site or the service means accepting them. We may suspend or end access that breaks them. Questions about them can be sent through the Contact page.
